1. Scope

This notice explains how personal data is processed in Web-Therapiq, the therapist-facing workspace of the Therapiq platform.

It applies to therapist accounts and related platform workflows (profile setup, availability, request handling, and account security).


2. Roles and Responsibilities

For platform operations, Therapiq acts as the data controller where required by applicable law.

Therapists remain independently responsible for their own professional obligations, including lawful handling of client data in their practice.


3. Data We Process

We may process:

a) Account and profile data

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Authentication/session data
  • Profile and professional information you submit

b) Practice workflow data

  • Availability and time-off settings
  • Session/request management data
  • Communication content you send through platform features
  • Calendar integration metadata (if enabled)

c) Technical and security data

  • Server and security logs
  • Basic diagnostics needed for reliability and abuse prevention

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for targeted advertising.


4. Purposes of Processing

Data is processed to:

  • provide and secure your account,
  • enable therapist workflows and client request handling,
  • deliver platform communications,
  • maintain, troubleshoot, and improve service reliability,
  • comply with legal obligations.

5. Legal Bases (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, processing is based on:

  • performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),
  • legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR),
  • legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR),
  • consent, where required (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

6. Sensitive Data Notice

Platform communications may include health-related or other sensitive information.

Please only submit data necessary for your workflow and professional obligations. You are responsible for using the platform in a way that matches your legal and ethical duties.


7. Data Sharing

Data may be shared with:

  • clients or therapists involved in a specific request/workflow,
  • infrastructure providers needed to operate the service (e.g. hosting, email delivery),
  • authorities or legal counterparts when required by law.

We do not share personal data for third-party advertising.


8. International Access and Transfers

Web-Therapiq may be accessed from different countries. Where transfers are required, we aim to use appropriate safeguards under applicable law.


9. Security Measures

We implement technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and encryption in transit and at rest where applicable.

No online system can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability.


10. Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as needed for service delivery, security, legal obligations, and legitimate operational needs.

Retention periods may differ by data category and applicable legal requirements.

Subject to applicable law, you may request:
